when i was younger, my mom always told me to love myself before i let anyone else love me. as a young girl dealing with a lot of bullshit coming from the media, other people, and my own mind, i wish i had listened to her a little sooner.

 

let’s make self-love something engrained in us from the very beginning. no more putting down ourselves or looking to others for all of our validation.  you have so much love waiting for you inside of yourself.
